The way the cherry and maple turtles each have their own grain is genuinely beautiful—it’s almost a shame to hide them inside the frame. Took me about twenty minutes to solve, and the satisfying click when the last one fits is worth every second.

I got this for my dad who loves puzzles and he spent a solid hour just trying to figure out how the nine turtles nest together. The maple and cherry pieces have a nice weight and the grain on each turtle is different, so it looks good sitting out on the coffee table too.

The nine turtles are each cut from different woods, so the maple, oak, and cherry pieces actually look distinct when you dump them out. My dad spent a solid hour on the coffee table trying to fit them all back in the frame, and he's not easy to impress.
