The wooden pieces are really smooth, no splinters, and the puzzle feels sturdy. Took me about ten minutes to figure out the trick with the leashes—very satisfying once it clicks. My cat was fascinated watching me untangle it.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew who loves brain teasers, and he was absolutely stumped by the wooden puzzle at first. The moment he finally figured out the trick to untangling the leashes, his face lit up.

It took me a few tries to get the leashes untangled, but the "aha" moment was very satisfying. The wood feels smooth and well-cut. I just wish the puzzle was a tiny bit harder to solve.
