Morabaraba - Traditional African Wooden Strategy Board Game

Morabaraba – Traditional African Strategy Game

Experience one of Africa's oldest and most celebrated strategy games with Morabaraba, a timeless battle of planning, positioning, and tactical thinking. Sometimes called Twelve Men's Morris, Morabaraba has been enjoyed for generations throughout southern Africa and remains a favorite among players who appreciate games that are easy to learn yet offer endless strategic possibilities.

Players take turns placing and moving their "cows" around the board, trying to formmills—three pieces in a row. Each completed mill allows you to remove one of your opponent's pieces, gradually gaining the advantage. Success requires careful planning, anticipating your opponent's moves, and creating opportunities while preventing your opponent from doing the same.

Whether you're introducing a new player to classic abstract strategy games or adding another timeless favorite to your collection, Morabaraba offers engaging gameplay that rewards thoughtful decision-making and strategic foresight.
