Julian ★★★★★

The wooden pieces have a satisfying weight and the board’s layout makes the capture sequences easy to follow. My wife and I have been playing every night since it arrived.

Adam ★★★★★

Finally a two-player strategy game with real history behind it—I love that it's been around since 1680. The rules are simple to learn but the depth keeps me coming back for more.

Isabella ★★★★☆

I was surprised by how quickly the game plays once you get the hang of the capture rules. The wooden board feels solid and the pieces slide smoothly, which makes setup a breeze. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions could be clearer for new players.
